Project PASS Sunday, August 18 - A group of women prepared and served dinner to 80 guests at Arch Street Presbyterian Church. They assembled packages of utensils, napkins, straws and Oreo cookies. They prepared and passed out dinner boxes filled with salad, chicken, potatoes and zucchini.

2024 May 1 Spring Banquet - Actor Trish Chambers portrayed “Elizabeth Skylar Hamilton”, wife of Alexander Hamilton. Ladies from Good Shepherd UMC and Langhorne UMC joined us. Vice President Louise Henry presented Ruth Portzline with a Special Mission Recognition Award and Pin for all her service to St. John’s. Former members Ted and Pat Mayrhofer stopped by to say hello. Thank you to those members who prepared the delicious food and to Louise and her team for organizing.
Communion Breakfast 2024 - Deaconess Darlene DiDomineck from Arch Street UMC gave a powerful presentation about the program she leads serving the homeless and needy in Center City Philadelphia. She opened our eyes to an array of startling statistics about their plight and ways we can help them.

St. John's Angel Tree 2022 continued in a virtual format. Church members could access an on-line list of families allowing them to select a name and purchase a requested gift that was delivered to the Eastwick Mission Foodbank that serves Southwest Philadelphia. This year St. John's youth helped to pack the gifts for delivery.
